Abelo has teamed up with Klarna to offer you a convenient and flexible payment method to help you spread the cost of your new beekeeping products. Here we have put together some FAQs that will guide you through the finance payment options available to our customers.

Will I qualify for finance?

To apply for one of our credit options you must meet the following criteria:

  • Over 18 years of age.
  • A UK resident with at least 3 years continual address history
  • Be in full time employment, unless retired or a homemaker with a partner in full time employment
  • Have a UK bank account capable of accepting Direct Debits.
  • The goods must be delivered to your home address (submitted on your application).

How can I apply?

  1. Add the items you want to add your basket and proceed to checkout
  2. In payment options select “Klarna”, you can then select the finance option which you require
  3. You will be asked to complete a simple online application, it’s quick, easy and you’ll get the decision within a matter of seconds.
    There is NO paperwork to be posted and NO physical signature required!
  4. The first payment is typically due 30 days after your goods were delivered.

What can’t I include on a payment plan?

What is the minimum order value?

The minimum order value is £300.

Do I have to pay a deposit?

A minimum 10% deposit is required. A member of staff is able to notify you what the minimum deposit amount is for your particular product. If your credit application is accepted, deposits are paid using a debit or credit card. Your chosen deposit amount is displayed in the credit summary throughout the application and on the credit agreement itself.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges will be additional and are dependent on what goods you are ordering and your location.
Collection from store is free.

How are monthly payments made?

Monthly repayments will be taken via direct debit from your bank account. Klarna will inform you of the date that your repayments will commence.

What repayment options do I have?

You can arrange 0% APR representative finance for 6,9,10 or 12 months.

Can I pay off a loan early?

Yes! You have the right to repay all or part of the credit early at any time. If you wish to do so, contact Klarna on 0333 321 6080, send an email to customersupport.uk@klarna.com or write to:

Are there any other charges?

If you fail to pay any amount you owe under the Credit Agreement by the date it is due, Klarna may charge you interest on that amount, they may also levy additional fees – details of these can be found in the credit agreement.

Can I cancel the credit agreement?

You have the right under section 66A of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason before the end of 14 days (beginning with the day after the day on which the agreement is made or, if later, the date on which we will tell you that we have signed the agreement). If you wish to withdraw you must give Klarna notice in writing or by telephone or email. Please note that if you do give notice of withdrawal, you must repay the full amount of the credit without delay and in any event by no later than 30 days after giving notice of withdrawal. If you want to settle the loan after the 14 day cooling off period, you may do so but you will also have to pay interest accrued from the date the agreement was made until the date you repay it. If you wish to pay by debit card please telephone the finance company. If you wish to pay by cheque please post it to Klarna. Please allow 10 working days from the day you post the cheque to allow time to process the payment.
