Placement of the monitoring crownboard can give varying readings dependant on its positioning allowing you to gauge the temperature wherever you need to.
The monitoring crown board can also be used after varroa treaments to assess the effects of your colony. The material used in the hygienic cover is completely resistant to acids used in any treatment of bees helping to maintain hygiene inside the nest.
