The 14 x 12 brood box comes with one side entrances which can be open or closed with polystyrene entrance blocks or plastic ventilation blocks, allowing multiple entry and exit points for the bees; reducing congestion during busy periods. Or they can be used with the mesh inserts to provide ventilation in hot summers or for transportation.
The 14 x 12 holds 11 Hoffman frames.

This adapter is used to conveniently stabilize the mini Ashforth feeder and make it more useable on different crown boards. By using the adapter, the probability of the feeder moving is minimised. To use the adapter, the spider strainer must be taken out and the adapter put in its place. Install the feeder itself on the adapter, adjusting the bottom hole of the feeder to the hole in the adapter. The bees go directly inside the feeder, collecting the food.
