DN4 National Frames – Brood Box (Flat-Packed)
Our DN4 National Frames are precision-made for use in British National and WBC brood boxes. Supplied flat-packed for easy storage and transport, they assemble quickly and accurately.
Manufactured in Hoffman style, these frames are self-spacing eliminating the need for lug spacers and ensuring consistent bee space throughout the box.
All DN4 frames are 1st quality, produced from carefully selected timber with no knots giving excellent strength, durability and a smooth finish ideal for beekeeping use. Frame nails are not included.

These are single moulded high density polystyrene hives (160g/litre) providing enhanced insulation properties and strength. They come ready painted and ready to use straight from the box.
We have also embossed the top and bottom of both the brood boxes and supers with rigid plastic.
These hives have the same exterior footprint as a Wooden National Hive.
The Brood Body and Super holds 11 Hoffman frames.
