Steam wax melter based on – Collection at The Beekeeping Show Telford

These are  high density polystyrene hives (160g/litre) providing enhanced insulation properties and strength. They come flat pack.
We have embossed the top and bottom with rigid plastic, the boxes holds 9  frames.

Langstroth Shallow Frames x 20 + foundation (flat pack)
Langstroth Deep Frames x 10 + foundation (flat pack)

Top bar 19″ x 11/16″ (483mm)
Side bar 9 1/8″ x 1 3/8″ (232mm)
Bottom bar 17 9/16″ (447mm)

Shallow frame size:
Top bar 19″ x 1 1/16″ (483mm)
Side bar 5 3/8″ x 13/8″ (137mm)
Bottom bar 17 9/16″ (447mm)

These are single moulded high density polystyrene hives (160g/litre) providing enhanced insulation properties and strength. They come ready painted and ready to use straight from the box.
We have also embossed the top and bottom of both the brood boxes and supers with rigid plastic.

These hives have the same exterior footprint as a Wooden National Hive.

The Brood Body and Super holds 11 Hoffman frames.
