Poly National Brood Box – 11 Frame
Our Poly National Brood Box is designed to combine durability, practicality, and compatibility with traditional wooden National equipment. Manufactured from high-density expanded polystyrene (EPS), it provides excellent insulation to help maintain stable brood temperatures while remaining lightweight and easy to handle.
The brood box features improved ergonomic hand grips on two sides for easier lifting and handling, together with a clean, modern design embossed with our company logo.
A centrally positioned entrance on the front face allows for advanced brood management techniques, including swarm control and colony increase.

As an alternative to the existing mesh screen on our poly floor we have designed a robust wire screen made in the same way as our Queen Excluders. Bees and wasps are unable to pass through the 3.2mm gaps and this screen will fit all our National Poly Floors.

Varroa Floor with Long Landing Board (Deep Roof Hive)
Our poly floors come with an open mesh screen with a tray insert and includes a landing board. A clever additional extra is a pollen trap which simply fits over the floor, allowing pollen to be collected in the tray underneath.
Due to the nature of the material this product may not be perfect – any scuffs or marks will not impede its use.
