This innovative multifunctional floor has been specially designed for 10-frame wooden Langstroth beehives, combining a varooa floor, integrated pollen trap, adjustable entrance reducer and removable inspection tray in one practical unit.
Collect Pollen Without Lifting Your Hive Boxes! One of the biggest advantages of this floor is its incredibly convenient pollen-trapping system. No more lifting heavy brood boxes or removing supers to access the pollen trap! The pollen-trapping plate simply slides out from the rear of the bottom board, allowing you to activate or deactivate pollen collection without dismantling the hive or disturbing the colony. It’s quick, simple and makes managing your bees so much easier.
The clever front entrance reducer allows you to adjust the hive entrance to suit your needs:
- Pollen collection mode – direct returning bees through the integrated pollen trap.
- Normal entrance mode – allow bees to enter and leave without collecting pollen.
- Fully closed mode – securely close the entrance when required.

Langstroth Queen Cage Trap
This is our new style Langstroth queen trap. It’s made of a metal queen excluder bent to create a box which fits one Langstroth deep frame (not included). There is a metal cover to close the box. The spacing of the excluder is 4.3mm to enable the worker bees to pass through but not the queen.
