Langstroth Poly Hive with 2 Supers
Following the popularity of our National Poly Hive the Langstroth Hive is designed to the same high standard. Manufactured and designed by Lyson using innovative technology which allows 160g of high-density polystyrene to be cleverly moulded to include a reinforced plastic rebate. This enables the component parts of the nucleus to combine neatly together forming an interlocking system which provides a more secure fit.

Langstroth Queen Cage Trap
This is our new style Langstroth queen trap. It’s made of a metal queen excluder bent to create a box which fits one Langstroth deep frame (not included). There is a metal cover to close the box. The spacing of the excluder is 4.3mm to enable the worker bees to pass through but not the queen.

This is our new queen cage introducer. It fits one Langstroth deep frame (not included) in a cage that no bee can get through. Perfect for introducing a new queen.

Langstroth Poly Deep Box
The deep brood box comes with two side entrances which can be open or closed with polystyrene entrance blocks or plastic ventilation blocks, allowing multiple entry and exit points for the bees; reducing congestion during busy periods. Or they can be used with the mesh inserts to provide ventilation in hot summers or for transportation.
The box holds 9 Hoffman frames. Flat pack.
