Our SN4 National Frames are used in British National and WBC shallow super boxes and come flat-packed. These Hoffman style are self-spacing and require no lug spacers.
The frames are packed in 10 pieces, ready for immediate and simple assembly. They come with pre-drilled holes for vertical wiring and a solid bottom bar both which gives strength to the overall frame. The wire sits neatly within groove along the top bar and the bottom bar which allows for easier cleaning of the frame and avoids damage to the wire with the hive tool.
The frames can be wired quickly and simply directly into the frame or using the brass eyelets which can help to prevent the wire from pulling into the timber.
These frames are particulary easy for resuse year on year by placing the entire frame into your wax melter which will remove the wax completely leaving the wired frame ready for embedding fresh foundation.
