The deep brood box comes with two side entrances which can be open or closed with polystyrene entrance blocks or plastic ventilation blocks, allowing multiple entry and exit points for the bees; reducing congestion during busy periods. Or they can be used with the mesh inserts to provide ventilation in hot summers or for transportation.

The box holds 9 Hoffman frames. Flat pack.

Our rebated super boxes have an improved aesthetic look and greater ergonomic grip on two faces of the boxes. The supers have one entrance hole in the middle of the front face of the box, to give flying bees quicker access to the honey supers.

Our SN4 national frames are used in British National and WBC shallow super boxes and come in packs of 10, assembled and pre-wired with foundation embedded. The dimensions of the frames are:

• Top bar- 17″ x 1″ (431mm x 22mm)
• Side bar- 5¹/₂” x 1 ³/₈” (140mm x 35mm)
• Bottom bar- 14″ (356mm)

Our 14”x12” Frames are used in British National 14X12 brood boxes and come flat-packed. They are Hoffman style which means they are self-spacing and require no lug spacers.

Note: the size of the top bar is now equivalent to the size of DN4 National Frames

Our Manley National Frames are used in British National and WBC shallow super boxes and come flat-packed. The side bars, both top and bottom measure 1¹/₁₆” wide, making uncapping with a knife or machine much easier.  Manley frames only come in a shallow size.
