Construction Limiter for Mini Floor of Mini Hive
The comb space limiter is a functional component designed for the bottom boards of mini hives. Its function is to restrict comb construction outside the frame area, preventing bees from extending the brood nest beyond the designated frame space. This ensures controlled comb development within the hive structure, facilitates hive management, and improves efficiency during inspection and maintenance of bee colonies. The robust construction ensures high durability and long service life under apiary operating conditions.
Comfort and durability – Durable plastic is resistant to weather conditions and perfectly transparent – which facilitates assessment when inspecting the hive.
Queen safety – Appropriately sized holes allow the bees to move between the bodies while keeping the queen in the brood chamber.
