70 Litre Stainless Steel Steam Wax Melter
The 70 Litre Stainless Steel Steam Wax Melter is a practical and efficient solution for melting down old brood comb, super comb and wax cappings, allowing you to recover beeswax while preparing wooden frames for reuse. Designed for use with a steam generator, steam is fed into the stainless steel tank through the hose connection in the lid. As the comb melts, the wax and water flow out through the outlet pipe at the bottom of the tank, while the internal perforated basket retains old cocoons, debris and other unwanted material. Once processed, suitable wooden frames can be cleaned and fitted with new foundation, helping you reuse valuable beekeeping equipment and reduce waste.

Important Information
Any honey remaining in the comb is not recoverable. During the steaming process, it will mix with the melted wax and water leaving the unit.

Gas Steam Wax Melter Stainless Steel, Insulated
This insluated wax melter allows for the melting down of old combs or cappings using steam. Water is added via the external fill arm which is heated with the aid of a gas burner. Steam fills the wax melter and the melted wax runs out of the pipe at the bottom of the tank. Frames and cappings are placed in an internal basket which collects the “junk”. Frames can then be re-used with new foundation.
This double walled stainless steel tank provides insulation, maintaining temperature for a much longer period and will use less energy to heat.
Not for use with plastic frames/foundation.

200 Litre Stainless Steel Steam Wax Melter
This wax melter allows for the melting down of old combs or cappings using heat provided by the steam generator. Steam enters the tank through the hose passing through the cover. The melted wax runs out of the pipe at the bottom of the tank. A circluar grill at the bottom of the tank collects the “junk”. Frames can then be re-used with new foundation.
It will accommodate approximately 25 x DN4 Frames and 35 x SN4 Frames
Not for use with plastic frames/foundation.
